MIDLAND – Marv Hebner, left, Vern Sweeting and Ivan McConnell, all members of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 80 in Midland, were among the hundreds of people on hand Wednesday for the town's Remembrance Day ceremonies. The solemn event included speeches, the playing of "The Last Post" and the laying of wreaths by various dignitaries and community groups.
